About Us
The White Hart Hotel is one of Exeter’s most historic inns. It is thought it was originally a resting place for monks and later became a coaching inn. Today, the hotel retains much of its heritage and charm and yet offers the business or leisure
visitor all the facilities and amenities of modern living. The White Hart boasts 55 en-suite rooms, 40 of which are situated in our 70's extension and the remainder are in the old part of the building. Located in a central position within the old city walls, it’s ideally situated to enjoy all the city has to offer, from its famous Gothic Cathedral to the newly revamped shopping centre.
Food & Drink
With a choice of areas to dine, an extensive selection
of freshly cooked meals and a comprehensive winelist, all tastes are catered for.
Great Ideas For Days Out
If you’re visiting Exeter, then you will want to explore this city, either for its history or its newly re-vamped shopping centre. The city boasts its famous Gothic Cathedral but it’s worth taking the guided walks, which take visitors through the passageways and waterways of this interesting Devon capital. There are a number of beautiful walks, including along the Exeter Canal, which finally makes its way to the Exe Estuary.
